Data Collection
Sigma Score Scans
When you run a Sigma Score scan, we collect the domain URL you submit and the publicly available data retrieved during the scan (such as meta tags, structured data, robots.txt directives, and page content). We do not collect any private or authenticated data from the scanned website. Scan results may be stored to improve our scoring methodology and for internal analytics.
Contact Forms
When you submit a contact form on our website, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number (if provided), business name, website URL, and message content. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and to communicate with you about our services.
Chatbot Interactions
Our website features an AI-powered chatbot that can answer questions about our services. When you interact with the chatbot, we collect the messages you send and the responses generated. These conversations may be reviewed to improve chatbot accuracy and service quality. Chatbot interactions are processed using Anthropic Claude and are subject to Anthropic’s data handling policies.
Third-Party Services
Google Places API
We use the Google Places API to retrieve publicly available business information such as business name, address, phone number, reviews, and ratings when running Sigma Score scans or displaying business data. This data is sourced from Google’s public index and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not send your personal data to Google through this integration.
Anthropic Claude
Our AI chatbot and certain AI-powered features are built using Anthropic’s Claude language model. Messages you send to our chatbot are transmitted to Anthropic’s API for processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models. For more details, refer to Anthropic’s usage policy and privacy documentation.
Resend Email
We use Resend as our email delivery service for transactional emails, including contact form submissions and notifications. When you submit a contact form, your name and email address are transmitted to Resend to facilitate email delivery. Resend processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy and does not use it for marketing purposes.
Data & Deletion Retention
How Long We Keep Your Data
Contact form submissions and associated correspondence are retained for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us. Sigma Score scan data is retained for up to 12 months to track methodology improvements and provide historical comparisons. Chatbot conversation logs are retained for up to 90 days for quality assurance and then automatically deleted.
Requesting Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. To request deletion, email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include the email address or domain associated with your data. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.
Automatic Deletion
Data that has exceeded its retention period is automatically purged from our systems. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes under any circumstances.
